The Agency invites data protection officers to participate in an anonymous survey on the scope, duties, and education of data protection officers in Croatia. The research is conducted by the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) in cooperation with the Croatian Catholic University within the framework of the EU project PRO-RES and it is available on the link: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/DPOsurvey2020.
The purpose of this research is to gain insight into the challenges faced by data protection officers and to develop tailor-made guidance for DPOs in order to reduce their burden associated with the GDPR compliance.
With the goal to help DPOs to perform their often difficult and challenging tasks, the Agency will organize throughout 2021 trainings for DPOs in the private as well as the public sector, in cooperation with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian County Association.
